Back From The Dead!

Hello all!

This must be the longest record broken for not posting, however after a near fatal brush with zombie syndrome I am back from the dead!

I am very happy to say that whilst away a lot has happened, I landed my dream job and I am now currently working as basically a graphics designer/trainee programmer. So I hope to be able to bring my new skill set over to here at FluffyGhost and well just make this website much more awesome of course!

So be warned I might make some crazy changes along the line as I shall be using FluffyGhost as my training ground.

I am definitely looking forward to being able to write this website from scratch.

Anyway so Im back just in time for my favourite months too:

(Halloween image via: Black Coffee.)

Autumn I find has so much to offer… From the beautiful scenery, those sunny days where the air is cold and crisp, crunchy leaves, blankets and jumpers, hot drinks tasting a million times better and of course…HALLOWEEN!!!

I really could list all day why I love Autumn so much but I shall save that for another rainy day.

After a very productive week at my new job a well deserved rest is only to be expected. As the famous saying goes;

“Time you enjoy wasting is not time wasted.” & I could not agree more!

So my weekend supplies consist of:

Halloween decorations, (Yes they were most necessary! Mr H looked at me funny haha.) sweets, sweets and more sweets! S’mores ingredients and comics!

I’ve wanted to try s’mores for a very long time, you Americans make them look irresistible. I do though have different crackers compared to the square ones, I am however English so you’ll have to forgive me as I just could not for the love of god find t

(Hello Kitty zombie Via: Wanabeanarchist DeviantART.)

So you know what I will be doing, as well as watching ALOT of zombie based movies and series. Its zombie fever at my house currently, if were not playing the new Resident evil 6 were watching something vaguely similar along those lines.

Anyone else caught the Halloween horror bug? Would love to hear from you all.

Take care,

Sanrio Store Heaven!

Hey all!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks…Summer is finally coming to an end and my favourite seasons are approaching. I can not wait!

Anyway last weekend me my partner Mr H & our friend took a trip to Germany for the day. (It really was a long day trip.) Me and my partner had never been on a plane before so it was great to finally lose my plane virginity at the age of 20!

It wasn’t that scary, I would like to blame Hollywood for making me think so…No snakes either.

So we went to a place called Wunderland its the worlds biggest Hornby exhibit what was outstanding! The detail was crazy.

But the reason why I’m posting about this today is that I went to my first ever Sanrio store! Sanrio merchandise is sold pretty much everywhere these days if you keep an eye open for it. I’ve been collecting Hello Kitty for way over a decade now…So finally being able to visit the home of Sanrio was an utter dream come true. (There sadly isn’t any Sanrio stores here in the UK, which is very weird considering Hello Kitty was mean’t to have been born in “London.”)

Don’t get me wrong I was knackered looked a bit of a mess but it was so worth it!

(The sunglasses were still on to hide my tired looking eyes, I had been up since 3 in the morning and running on about 3 hours sleep all day haha. No regrets!)

I almost had a heart attack in the door way I swear! Boy I’ve never been quite at home as I was here. Mr H was a star and took all the in store photos as I was let loose to do my bidding. Muahahah! >:D Was a nice surprise.

So of course you might be wondering what my haul was?

Well wollah:

I think I did quite well considering I couldn’t buy too much or any larger items as we didn’t have a suitcase. Mr H was awesome and carried the Tuxedo Sam bag through customs. It was so cute!!

Lots of goodies for me and of course I had to pick up some gifts for some dear friends. Gotta share the happiness right!

Everything at the front (The pouches and mini notebooks.) were free gifts which was very delightful. I was over the moon to have been given a Jewel Pet pouch I adore Ruby. I did want to buy some Jewel Pet merchandise but was a bit to expensive for my budget. Quite a few people have asked me about the prices and I must say a lot of it was very reasonable. The was of course some extremely expensive stuff amongst everything, but isn’t there everywhere?

The most expensive purchase I made that day was the Tuxedo Sam bag which was only 17.90 Euros so not bad at all considering I was in the best place on earth…EVER!!

So there we have it my first ever trip to a Sanrio Store. I cannot wait to hunt down another!

Kuma Crafts!

How I love thee!

I have been quite a big fan of Kuma Crafts for some time now. I can remember when they first started out with a handful of original designs… Which instantly got me hooked of course & I can be quite picky when it comes to kawaii jewellery.

I must admit I haven’t been this impressed with an Etsy store in a long time. Each time I pop by I am always delighted to see new and even cuter designs. My purse is sure paying for it.

Heres my most recent/naughty splurge:

I love the Nyan cone design so much! I am the ultimate sucker for a kawaii cat design, Nyan Nyan Nyanko or Maneki Neko…So when I saw this design I just had to have instantly!

I am dead impressed with the T-shirt, it’s dead comfy, good quality and the necklace is to die for. I adore all the detail and love that has gone into this acrylic pendant. Definitely worth the price for the workmanship gone into it! I was also touched by the kawaii cat phone charm freebie in my order. Dead lovely and really finished up my order to a “T”.

I thought I should share all of my Kuma Crafts necklace collection as its starting to grow to a decent size:

The first ever Kuma Crafts necklace I ordered was the lilac cat pendant. It has lasted the test of time and I still love it to this day. The second necklace was by chance/luck as I had just recently at the time liked the Kuma Crafts Facebook page…Turned out by doing so I had entered into a giveaway I wasn’t aware of and won!!! I was so gobsmacked and overjoyed to had discovered my pure luck! So I got to choose the gold glittery tiger necklace. (Which sadly broke due me being clumsy, only the loop was damaged so I plan on turning it into a brooch soon as its far to kawaii to be wasted.)

I then went crazy and purchased the Sailor Moon necklaces as I grew up watching this as many of us has and been a life long fan since. I really love her take on the designs there just perfect as well as being affordable as a lot of Sailor Moon merchandise is quite expensive…Especially if it is vintage.

I then received the bunny necklace recently as a gift from my awesome kawaii sister Ella Kitty. She had won it in the Super Cute Kawaii giveaway and well I just adore her so much for thinking of me. (I’m currently wearing this one now!)

Which takes us up to date to my Nyan cone order. Hurray!!

I love each and every part of my Kuma Crafts collection, from the necklaces, top & phone charm. I shall be back in the future that for sure is guaranteed.

Here’s what I currently have my eye on:

Image via: Kuma Crafts Etsy.

I need this Maneki Neko T-shirts so badly! Either the one in blue or pink or possibly both! I loved her necklace design of it too, although she does not have any more in her store I shall be keeping my eye open for that if its restocked.

Om Nom Nom Kitty Necklace via: Kuma Crafts Etsy.

I need this cutie pie too! It’s just so damn adorable!

As you can see I am by far a Kuma Crafts Junkie! I really do just love that store so much. I could list all my desires but we would be here all day. So I shall leave this post at that.

Do stop by her store and say hi as Kuma Crafts really is just that awesome!

Take care,

Summer is for Hello Kitty!

As summer is among us it was time for me to do the dreaded shoe clear out. After seeing that most of my Hello Kitty flip-flops are dying I was able to reward myself with these new beauties:

I couldn’t have been happier to throw away loads of manky shoes for these babies. I love that they have a wedge makes them feel more feminine to me.

The perfect flip flops for this summer… Well if we do get any sun here in the UK haha!

Even the soles are god damn adorable!

I love how the reds & pinks gel together so pretty; you can also get them just in red as well. I got these from eBay so yer haha.

Have a great day everyone!

Strapya World!

Hey hey!

Not so long ago I placed an order with the ever awesome Strapya World I’ve been a big fan of their merchandise for a long time… I’ve browsed their website a million times whilst biting my lip, so after a while I finally gave in and raped my bank account, don’t worry it was worth it of course!

But who could blame me I mean look at it:

I’ve been dying to get my hands on one of these Hello Kitty bunny mascots for a while. I will be honest I did want the mint green one but it sold out so this being my second choice. Of course I couldn’t go to Strapya World without purchasing some phone charms: I couldn’t resist the Tuxedo Sam one as well as the Cherry Blossom festival Hello Kitty. Beyond adorable!

It was love at first sight with the Rilakkuma cupcake squishy’s there just perfect!

I also brought the Rilakkuma & Korilakkuma soap dispensers…Although some of you might have seen in previous pictures I do already currently own both. (One being used in my bathroom the other in my kitchen.) When I saw Strapya World were selling them I just had to buy another set. I just love them so much & well things get broken over time with wear & tear so I can easily replace them when that horrible day comes haha!

Preparation never looked so kawaii haha!

Strapya World has tons of kawaii characters and merchandise so be sure to pop by and see them here.

Take care,

I Am Not Dead!

Hello all…

All though it may have seemed that I had died and gone off somewhere I can assure you all I am still alive!

Basically I had a seriously bad flu virus & been in bed for the last two weeks pretty much.  But I’m all better now so FluffyGhost shall commence with the kawaii!

I shall be pulling my finger out to & uploading some kawaii goodies I have in store for you all to my Etsy shop.

Anyway whilst I was ill doesn’t mean there wasn’t any kawaii! (There is always kawaii of course!)

Look what the postman brought me:

Over a month ago I placed another order from the ever awesome J List and boy I’m sure glad I did.

Japan have so many awesome ranges of our existing candy and chocolate that it makes our British range seem rather boring. Which it is! I’ve never tried hot cake flavour KitKats before until now. There really good-by the way, a lot smaller than the UK ones but with the Rilakkuma packaging who cares? Most kawaii KitKats ever!

I also got some Miku Hatsune “Hentai” underwear. Its meant for cosplay apparently but I’m just using them as normal underwear really haha. They are super cute and of course comfy. If you’re a fan of anime then your bound to have see these iconic panties everywhere (In a range of colours.) so I just had to have some!

I needed some teaspoons (Yes I actually did need some not because I fancied them, even though I did haha.) so I was able to crack two birds with one stone here.

I also re-ordered some of the chocolate pocky moulds as I swapped my current one.

Finally these are what are known as a “silly” purchases. No I didn’t need them, I just wanted them haha. The first is a giant panda biscuit looked really cute so I thought I would give it ago. Must admit although it was a little artificial still tasted better than I thought. I do love the plastic cases, I don’t have a purpose in mind for them so I’ll properly use a few of them for some future swaps or something along those lines.

I hope everyone enjoys their bank holiday weekend! (If you live in the UK!)

So I shall be back on Tuesday with tons of kawaii posts, crafts, products and more. Yes I will actually be back haha! If you can swear on kawaii then I do!

Take care,

Hello Kitty Supermarket Finds.

Hey!

Food shopping is usually a dull chore (For us normal folks haha.) in store or on-line it tends to drag a tad… One thing that does make me smile whilst doing the dreaded “monthly shop” is the Hello Kitty products.

If you go into any supermarket your find Hello Kitty in the usual places such as the home deco aisle (Like pillows, blankets, towels etc…) round the lunch box isle for tupperware, cups and such. Or of course the beauty & health isle. Although this is just enough to make food shopping a little better mentally that is I was quite surprised to find these goodies:

The mini cakes have been around for a while, but I still had to have them, same for the plasters really. But what really made my eyes light up to be honest was the ice creams. How adorable are they!? (I brought like two boxes haha.)

Even though Hello Kitty is slowly taking over the supermarket chains (Which is awesome I might add!) there are the occasional times when even I am still surprised at some of the kawaii products they bring to store!

Which is just as well as food shopping sure is lame…

Take care,

Hello Kitty Shoes!

Afternoon!

So today I’ve been browsing the net far & wide to bring you some of the most super kawaii  Hello Kitty trainers I could find: Just in time for your summer wardrobe too!

Heres my personal favourites:

1.

(Twenty10 beige Hello Kitty high top vegan fashion trainers: Buy here!)

I really do adore the design on these shoes, they might look more autumn/winter kinda shoes but who cares when there this cute! I mean there’s going to be the odd gloomy day in summer right?

2.

(Reebok X Hello Kitty Plush Shoes: Buy here!)

These have been on my wish list for a long, long time indeed. It was love at first sight with these. I personally would go for the white pair, but if money wasn’t an issue I would gladly take the pink as well. Sadly these shoes are only sold in Japan, but thank god for Ebay as there are still a few pairs being sold from Hong Kong! Grab then while you can! Or I might beat you to it… It’s a battle of quilt with my bank account I do believe hahaha!

3.

(Purple Hello Kitty Shoes: Buy here!)

Although these aren’t from a famous brand I must admit I am a bit of a sucker for them. I’ve always loved a bit of tartan here & there & purple being my favourite colour makes it an easy win. They also come in black/pink & red too.

I really could go on forever listing Hello Kitty shoes I adore, as there are so many different styles & types of shoes so I do feel I was only skimming the surface today. But I do hope you like some of my choices, as finding them is one thing…To buy is another I tend to find.

Anyway, I must dash!

Take care,

I Love Stationary!

Hey,

Recently a friend recommended a kawaii shop called Yozocraft to me as we were discussing letter sets (Yer this is a normal topic for a kawaii junkie.) & how expensive some can be… Well her recommendation sure paid off and saved me some pennies as their prices are awesome. Especially if your currency is the British pound!

So here’s what I splashed out on:

Apart from hoarding the odd letter set, I do usually eat my way through them constantly with kawaii pen pals, errand lists etc. They have become the normal type of paper in my house. So it’s always awesome to find a cute store that sell great designs that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!

I was thrilled with the choice of deco tape. I love the larger ones as there perfect for decorating parcels & mail envy for. I mean who wants to use boring brown postal tape? Blarghh!

So I went for a kawaii cat design, (Cats in clothes are to die for!) Kutusushita Nyanko & Sentimental Circus! Super kawaii tape indeed!

Also I got some cute envelope memos and some cat card cases for swaps etc…

The most expensive individual item I purchased would have to be the Choo Choo cat sticker pack for $6.50: I really do adore there designs so I couldn’t resist it. It’s really handy to as it’s a booklet with tons of kawaii cat stickers in it. I’ll probably take pictures of it separately on my Flickr at some point.

The Mamegoma stickers are more than likely for future swaps.

Finally I ended my shopping with some Rilakkuma products! I’m head over heals for the macaroon design it’s so adorable! As is the paper tape. I’ve never used paper tape before, so that will be interesting using that.

Has anyone else used paper tape?

So there we have it. Just a small insight into my normal stationary purchasing habits!

I do also recommend Yozocraft if you’re not in a hurry for your parcel. (I think I waited just shy of a month but it was worth it!)

They also do tons of kawaii crafting supplies.

Anyway have a great weekend and see you all soon!

J-List!

Hey hey!

Yes…Im still alive haha, sorry for the lack of presence; I’ve been away studying like a mad women for my car theory test. I am so happy to say I passed first time so woo!

Anyway I am back so “hello online world!”

Last month I placed an order for J-List for tons of kawaii goodies, so here’s what I got:

I just adore J-Lists kawaii sponges, that I just couldn’t pick between the apple or rice ball so well I had to have both. It’s always wise to have a kawaii back up sponge anyways… It’s a sensible thing to do right? Haha.

I always wanted to try some Japanese hard candy.(I have but not ones like these.) These are extra special as there from Kyoto, they taste pretty good too.

One of my favourite purchases are the Pocky moulds, I got super excited about these! To be able to make my own kawaii treats that doesn’t break the bank is always a win to me. There make great gifts too, so can’t wait to use them. I’ll do a post on them as soon as I do…

Next we have some Hello Kitty penny sweets. There really adorable as they have Hello Kitty’s face on each one. I might put a few in the odd swap as there each individually wrapped.

The Rilakkuma & Hello Kitty bento cases are for Mr H’s lunch box…I just couldn’t help myself, seeing as I make his lunch everyday haha. Thats what you get when you leave your lunchbox in the hands of a kawaii junkie! Be warned people muahaha! As well as the kawaii  bento pots…For putting putting candy, seasoning/whatever really. Well that is small enough.

So I guess It was more of a kawaii kitchen binge as most of the goodies are edible or in fact for cooking use. So I spose there was a theme when I was purchasing my goodies but not intentionally. I just love practical kawaii, If I can use it on others then more the better haha.

J-List has tons of kawaii goodies as well as a huge range of anime/manga & cosplay appeal. Which I shall be back for in the near future I’m sure!

So don’t forget to check them out here.

Ooo also:

(Image via: J-List.)

I know it sounds a tad racist but I promise you it’s nothing of the sort, it only sounds doughy to us outsiders. Basically White day is the day men give gifts to there girlfriends, wives, well any female in there present life who gave them chocolates on Valentines day. A “gift back day” (o-kaeshi) most say it’s another made up holiday from the “shops” but I think its kinda sweet.

Whose complaining if it means an extra gift for us ladies hah.

Take care,
