Sundays are for…

Car boots!

If you live in England then you know how big we are on our car boots! Its pretty much  the equivalent to maybe the American yard sale, but imagine 100 more stalls and such… Then you have yourself a car boot!

Well there always on a Sunday morning in general so me & Mr H did the daring & got up early for once… Were more night owls than morning people. I just really hate getting up early haha, yet I’m more than happy to stay up till the dead hours of the night.

Anyway I’m glad we did manage to drag our arses out of bed cause it was surely worth it:

From the prettiest of bedspreads… Looks so comfy can’t wait to use it! Christmas baskets, decorations ahh just so much neat stuff! Really stoked I found this box of buttons, complete bargain and in a vintage tin…Love!

I originally went this morning with the intention of finding stuff that I could incorporate into my craft fair this October, so it’s only natural that I picked up these cute light up Santa/jester hats.

Next up Mr H’s favourite score of the day, a Frothie maker that makes really awesome hot and cold drinks. Can you believe that this little thing manage to blow our electrics…Damn haha.

I finally found some furniture I can re-vamp and use in my craft fair. Can’t wait to get started on it! (The Chinese chest is Mr H’s.) I also found some of the cutest hair clips, so I just had to have them.

Some more cheap craft supplies is always a win. Of course I had to save the best till last!

Hello Kitty Japanese bundle! All brand new! I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw this sitting on an old ladies stall. I immediately grabbed it all! definitely my favourite and best score of the day! It just shows that you never know what you could find… & well obviously it was meant to be!

Have an awesome Sunday,

Vintage Collections…

Good afternoon!

For this weeks Thrift Thursday, I’ve been looking into some of my recent favourite vintage collections.

Vintage Collection 1. Via: sayuri-n Flickr.

How wouldn’t want to wake up to this every morning? It’s just so visually stunning!

2.

Vintage Collection 2. Via: katiecanavan Flickr.

I’ve always had a thing for vintage glass wear, especially coral tone’s for some strange reason…But from a simple collection you can make the biggest statement in your home, like above. So pretty, yet so very organised.

3.

& were back!

Hey!

Im finally happy with the current standards of my website…Meaning back to blogging.

Woo!

Thank you to all my readers, for being so patient. To tell you the truth the last week has been very hetic indeed for me. As ive been sprucing up the site, aswell as making stock for my “soon to be online shop” like a mad women.

But yes, it’s good to be back indeed.

So today i thought i would share some of my recent thrift finds.

My new record box!

I came across this baby by chance yesterday, at my local music shop. The owner Andy, picks up a couple of these babys when he goes to auction for stock for his shop. Well cut a long story short, some girls came into the store asked for these boxes then left with out buying one. Yer alright so i took advantage of the situation and brought it. The other girl went to “think about buying it” well to late its mine. Muahaha.

That does’nt make me a meanie does it?

You snooze you lose right haha  ^___^

Well im super happy with it, its actually from the 1960′s and in amazing condition.

I just love the print inside…So cute!

I think im going to have to pimp it out with some Kawaii stickers.

I also picked up these super cute storage tins for my craft supplies whilst out thrifting. Green worm in a jar :-)

They now proudly home lots of cute buttons & embellishments.

Well im off to make some more stock…

Which i shall be posting on here over the next couple of days, before the grand opening of the Fluffyghost store in the next couple of weeks. (Eppps im so excited.)
