FluffyGhost on Instagram!

Hey all.

Lately I’ve been addicted to the Instagram app… As I tend to take pictures of my everyday kawaii life compared to specialising on a handful of subjects per post as I do here. It’s just a lot more spontaneous and I love it! So I thought I should start uploading from time to time my Instagram photos so you can see more of FluffyGhost behind the scenes haha.

As you can see I really am that much of a kawaii nut lol! I’ve been taking photos of my personal collection, everyday life, new purchases and my kitty when his being a ober cutie. I just love kawaii photography there’s just something about it where I can stare my day away at it.

London Anime Convention 2012.

Hi all!

Its great to finally be back after an awesome and much rewarding Anime Convention. I feel like I’ve been sewing forever for this but it sure was worth the effort.

I had so much fun through out the day, from seeing some pretty amazing cosplays, to having a great success with my art stall and of course meeting some great people!

So heres some photos from Saturday:

It was really fun dressing up in Cosplay: It was my first time too, I wish I had taken more photos or at least got a body shoot but hey ho… So there we have me as Konata from Lucky Star, chocolate cornet & all! 

 

There were tons of great stalls & talented artists at the convention so there was just now way I could  have gone home empty handed! My eyes completely lit up when I spotted Mokona Modoki from Holic, there just beyond cute!

Oh & there is one other thing I picked up from the con…& well everyone should have really:

You bet’cha who could say no to kawaii cat ears! Hewiee approved of course.

Christmas In Photos!

Hi all!

I hope all of you had a fantastic kawaii filled Christmas!

It’s great to be back, I have so so so…Many ideas for Fluffyghost for the up and coming year can’t wait to share. But as were still all in the chilled out, eat/drink and be merry vibe: I thought I would share some of my favourite presents from Christmas this year.

Well it’s not new years yet!

So so many awesome gifts! I want to thank all of my friends and family whose made many of my Christmas lusts come true!

As you can see I have another stupidly  awesome sized pillow! Shrimp style sushi of course! I love it so much! Hello Kitty 50th anniversary collaboration with Tuxedo Sam plush! & of course two generous sized anime and manga box sets! Thanks Mr H!

I always find that not asking for much for Christmas is always a win down here, as I’m always curious to see what people think I like and what gifts are bestowed on me. Obviously my family, friends and lover are of course well kawaii trained haha!

The best Rilakkuma slippers ever! There so freaking adorable I couldn’t have asked of any better. Mr H knows me well. 

I was so stoked to unwrap my Hello Kitty porcelain ornament, I’ve been eyeing up this beaut for almost forever! Its handmade by the Spanish group’s NAO brand in workshops in Valencia under license by Sanrio. You can find more out about them here. To others its known as “grown up” Hello Kitty!

I wanted to thank my friend Ella (Who Im super excited about meeting on the 30th.) for my awesome handmade kawaii Christmas card of me and Hewiee. Best card by a landslide I have received this year! She is a super talented artist so be sure to check out some of her work here.

Finally some super cute bits and bobs from Santa haha! (Apart from the Ds game.)  I love Rune Factory 3, best game I have up to date. It’s beyond Harvest Moon as you can do so so so much more! Awesome game I strongly recommend it!

A professor Layton DVD, can’t wait to watch as the games are really fun! Hello Kitty cupcake lip gloss and finally the most awesome Black Butler playing cards!

So as you can see I’ve done very well this Christmas! I want to thank everyone who made this year so special! 

I will also be doing a new years giveaway in the next couple of years, to help kick-start 2012 all in good stride so be sure to keep checking in.

Mineco Super Sized!

Hey hey!

So on this weeks Secret Addict I’ve finally met my mecca in the pillow world. As some of you know I’m a bit of a  crazy cat lady so its only natural for me to find Mineco irresistable. But how irresistable do you say?

Well after a month of waiting my Mineco pillow came through the post. (Finally Korea!) But this isn’t your average pillow…Nooooo…

How come you might say?

Well here’s why:

It’s a mega, huge, jumbo sized Mineco…Well buying a smaller pillow just wouldn’t have done.

The last photo is to help you judge the size of it. Put it this way my bed is king size so its freaking one huge fluffy ball of kawaii!

Mmmm would you say that my pillow obsession is spiraling out of control?

Well…Maybe, possibly…

It measures 90cm in width so I’ll let you be the judge of that haha!

Hello Kitty For Christmas!

If your’e a fellow Hello Kitty junkie then your in for a treat today as Sanrio have some of the kawaiiest goodies that would sit perfect underneath your Christmas tree!

So heres are my latest additions to my Christmas list:

This Hello Kitty throw is adorable! From the print to the classic red bow. I would love to snuggle up with this any day of the year.

It would almost be criminal not to have a matching cushion to go with the blanket! The fabric looks super cosy and the bow just finishes it all off…Lovely!

Finally Santa I would like to finish off this kawaii bundle off with some matching slippers! So I can snooze in style.

But don’t worry if you live around Europe or UK like me there is hope…As there is a Sanrio Europe. It’s currently going under some work but it will be open before you know it! So be sure to stop by here from time to time.

My Pillow Stash!

 Good morning!

So for this weeks Secret Addict I thought it was about time I showed you my secret kawaii pillow stash. (Not all of my cute pillows, just some of my favourites.)

For some reason I’ve always been obsessed with pillows, so it only comes natural to me to lust after all the kawaii ones the world has to offer!

From food with faces, Hello Kitty to Rilakkuma. I would have to say my latest favourite would be my Rilakkuma pillows, I just love how soft the material is, makes the best nights sleep ever!

So they permanently now live on my bed haha.

With Autumn fast approaching, I just couldn’t help myself but start to get into the festive mood; so here are some of my latest favourite seasonal Etsy discoveries!

Thank You Mr Postman…

For delivering some much awaited kawaii goodness!

Thats right, so lately I’ve had a mini splurge but with good intentions haha. Alright you’ve caught me out, I was ill and depressed so I “cheered” myself up lol. 

So here’s what arrived through the post yesterday!

My new Hello Kitty suitcase and vanity case! I’ve been lusting over Hello Kitty suitcases over the last couple of years. The only thing I’ve ever found with Hello Kitty suitcases is that majority of them are just so expensive. Despite the designs being amazing especially the vintage edition out at the moment! I’m really happy with mine though, I found it at a great price here;  the vanity case came free with it which was pretty awesome. I just love the stitched effect, it creates quite a rustic feel: Which I am totally loving of course!

Remember recently I did a post on Rilakkuma body pillows? Well I’ve finally got mine! Ahhh I love it so, It’s super soft and surprisingly a great size; here’s a size comparison against me:

Quite big huh!? I really want to get his brother now, but sadly that’s going have to go back onto my wish list for another rainy day haha.

So there you have it! Some super cute much needed stuff new in my life.

I can’t wait to travel and use my suitcase: Im thinking about using it at Weyfest that Im going to in September, but I’m worried it would get nicked or muddy!

Rilakkuma & Korilakkuma body pillows…

Hi all!

Sorry for not posting the last couple of days, I’ve been ill in bed…Bah!

But all is well now, so thanks for all of your patience. 

Anyway, as some of you might know I have an obsession, addiction  a huge thing about pillows. I normally buy all of my kawaii plush pillows from Ebay from one of my favourite Korean seller. So today I thought I should introduce you to my latest favourites:

This is the one I’ve ordered. Seriously cannot wait till it comes through!

Sqeee! There just both adorable! I’m getting very tempted to buy Rilakkumas brother…You know just incase he gets lonely on his own haha.

Charm for the home!

Hey! Thursday already, damn this week has flown by that’s for sure.

So for this weeks edition I thought I would share some of my favourite thrift scores I recently stumbled across: As well as a few vintage trinkets I have in up in my store now:

Crochet pillows! I couldn’t believe my luck when I found these babies! For those who might not know, I kinda have a problem addiction to all sorts of blankets and pillows. Crochet just being one of my many favourites of course! They just hold that rustic homely charm & for £3.99 a piece I wasn’t going to complain.

I just don’t understand how people can throw away such amazing craft! We’ll It’s good for me, but still! If any one of you can crochet then you already have my respect there!

So these beauties are now currently replacing the boring pillows my sofa came with… Making it look,  a hell of a lot more comfy and of course a better place to relax.
