My Kawaii World!

Hey,

Just quickly popping in with an insight into my kawaii life!

Today I wanted to share what I call my kawaii corner with you all.

So here it is:

It’s just one of my many safe havens It’s almost like a shrine I spose to me haha.

I tend to keep my smaller collectible plush here as well as some of the manga I have finished.

Although I tend to keep my larger collection stored away neatly.

My kawaii corner is on top of my chest of draws so I am forever going back & forth to this part of my bedroom.

The mirror & blue mini chest of draws I’ve had since I was small so I doubt I’ll ever get rid of those. (Even if they do seem to be the odd bits out of this kawaii equation. My favourite storage here would be my pink Rilakkuma draws as well as the tiny Hello Kitty draws I have on top of the larger blue unit. (I’ve had that for a very long time too.)

I tend to keep most of my kawaii inside of kawaii tins, boxes, cute storage etc… So  the goodies out on display are only a small part of my personal collection, I have gathered from over the years. My favourite part of this corner recently would have to be my “charm tree” well it’s a white heart but I look at it like that.

From Nyan Nyan Nyanko charms, Sanrio, Jewel Pets, San-X, Tofu Cute, to handmade. I love adding new goodies to it.

I also tend to get a lot of kawaii goodies from swaps too. So I’m always proud to display some of my favourite bits & bobs I’ve received from the ever so lovely kawaii community on Flickr.

So there you have it, a small insight into my everyday kawaii life!

If  you have any kawaii places in your home & would like to feature on FluffyGhost, then drop me an email…I would love to hear from you all!

Take care & have an awesome weekend.

Kawaii Friends!♥

Afternoon all!

FluffyGhost has been going for some time now and one of the best experiences I could  possibly experienced so far is being accepted into the kawaii community with such a warm embrace

From meeting so many awesome people across the world who I have so much in common with is just fantastic.

But there comes a time when you meet someone extra special that I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for all of this.

She goes by the Name Ella Kitty and she is my kawaii sister  & equivalent: To find she was UK-based was just so awesome!

Anyway this is how you know you’ve been spoilt when a talented up & coming artist spoils you with stunning artwork of yourself.

It can’t get much better then this surely:

It might not be “Picasso standards” yet… But the time, the effort and love that went into creating this piece exceeds all off the above. You seriously cannot beat personal artwork, the feeling of instant astonishment & excitement you receive from a friend going out their way to create something special is unbeatable! Plus bubble bunnies what’s not to love!

I adore this piece so much!

I always wanted to know what I would look like Chibi style, and thanks to Ella Kitty my curiosity has been quenched. Obviously I would be a nekomusume girl I mean duh it would be crazy if I wasn’t.

I want to thank Ella Kitty so much for going out of her way to create these little gems for me: For spending your personal time and talent to draw me haha. These are going on my wall, frame worthy in my eyes.  Your work will never go unappreciated here!

Have you ever had a friend or artist draw yourself?Or possibly even both?

I would love to hear about all of your experiences!

Take care all,

L………x

Miku Hatsune Fanart!

Hey all!

I’ve been a huge fan of Miku Hatsune-Vocaloids since I can remember & well I really do adore her fan art! You can see that her very talented fans have really gone out there way to capture something special in their art!

So heres some of my personal favourites:

1.

(Miku Hatsune via: Mikuru.)

It’s true Im a sucker for the colour palette used in this. It’s just so enchanting and expresses a more mature yet mysterious side of Miku well in my eyes.

2.

(Miku Hatsune via: Fanpop.)

I love the contrast in this piece from the first. Apart from it being irresistibly adorable and cute, its nice to see a vulnerability too. Plus who doesn’t love pastel colours! Makes for a very refreshing piece!

3.

(Miku Hatsune painting: Source unknown, if you know please let me know asap!)

This is by far one of my favourites! I really want this on my wall. I would actually commission the artist to paint me an original! I just adore the textures & atmosphere this piece creates. Its just so beautiful…If you know who done this or where its from please let me know as this is one email I really need to send!

Take care,

London Anime Convention 2012.

Hi all!

Its great to finally be back after an awesome and much rewarding Anime Convention. I feel like I’ve been sewing forever for this but it sure was worth the effort.

I had so much fun through out the day, from seeing some pretty amazing cosplays, to having a great success with my art stall and of course meeting some great people!

So heres some photos from Saturday:

It was really fun dressing up in Cosplay: It was my first time too, I wish I had taken more photos or at least got a body shoot but hey ho… So there we have me as Konata from Lucky Star, chocolate cornet & all!

There were tons of great stalls & talented artists at the convention so there was just now way I could  have gone home empty handed! My eyes completely lit up when I spotted Mokona Modoki from Holic, there just beyond cute!

Im totally in love with my new art print from Destiny Blue be sure to check out her artwork here.

Oh & there is one other thing I picked up from the con…& well everyone should have really:

You bet’cha who could say no to kawaii cat ears! Hewiee approved of course.

Be back tomorrow as of normal. (No disappearing for a couple of days, cub scouts honor.)

China Town 2!

Hi all!

Recently I got to meet an awesome kawaii friend in London, and of course when your in London theres only one place to go for the kawaii…China town!

So heres my most recent loot from an epic day:

As you can tell I went a tad crazy again but how could I not! It must have been the after Christmas sales as a lot of this kawaii goodness was only £1!

Which puts shame on those cheap tacky pound lands haha.

Ahh China town how I love thee!

Living proof that cheap does not have to be a ton of crap.

I love finding anime merchandise too. I was totally stoked to have found Black Butler and Death Note amongst everything!

Have a great evening!

Christmas In Photos!

Hi all!

I hope all of you had a fantastic kawaii filled Christmas!

It’s great to be back, I have so so so…Many ideas for Fluffyghost for the up and coming year can’t wait to share. But as were still all in the chilled out, eat/drink and be merry vibe: I thought I would share some of my favourite presents from Christmas this year.

Well it’s not new years yet!

So so many awesome gifts! I want to thank all of my friends and family whose made many of my Christmas lusts come true!

As you can see I have another stupidly  awesome sized pillow! Shrimp style sushi of course! I love it so much! Hello Kitty 50th anniversary collaboration with Tuxedo Sam plush! & of course two generous sized anime and manga box sets! Thanks Mr H!

I always find that not asking for much for Christmas is always a win down here, as I’m always curious to see what people think I like and what gifts are bestowed on me. Obviously my family, friends and lover are of course well kawaii trained haha!

The best Rilakkuma slippers ever! There so freaking adorable I couldn’t have asked of any better. Mr H knows me well.

I was so stoked to unwrap my Hello Kitty porcelain ornament, I’ve been eyeing up this beaut for almost forever! Its handmade by the Spanish group’s NAO brand in workshops in Valencia under license by Sanrio. You can find more out about them here. To others its known as “grown up” Hello Kitty!

I wanted to thank my friend Ella (Who Im super excited about meeting on the 30th.) for my awesome handmade kawaii Christmas card of me and Hewiee. Best card by a landslide I have received this year! She is a super talented artist so be sure to check out some of her work here.

Finally some super cute bits and bobs from Santa haha! (Apart from the Ds game.)  I love Rune Factory 3, best game I have up to date. It’s beyond Harvest Moon as you can do so so so much more! Awesome game I strongly recommend it!

A professor Layton DVD, can’t wait to watch as the games are really fun! Hello Kitty cupcake lip gloss and finally the most awesome Black Butler playing cards!

So as you can see I’ve done very well this Christmas! I want to thank everyone who made this year so special!

I will also be doing a new years giveaway in the next couple of years, to help kick-start 2012 all in good stride so be sure to keep checking in.

Have a great day!

Super Cute Shopping Spree!

Hey hey!

So as you might know (from my last post) that me & Mr H had a huge shopping spree for our anniversary. Which was pretty epic, as I was in a 100% kawaii state of mind…As usual haha. So here’s what I ended getting:

(Hello Kitty DSi accessory kit. I thought my DSi deserved a little re-vamp!)

(Best game ever! I love the art cards that came with it there so kawaii! I’m very tempted to get them framed!)

(Hello Kitty collaboration with Liberty the new line! These tins are seriously the cutest!)

(Paperchase mini spree, they had 20% off everything pretty much kawaii, I was like MINE! Heheh.)

(I used to watch this all the time when I was a kid, so stoked to have rediscovered this! Ahh I love the illustrations so much!)

(My new Hello Kitty plush from Build a Bear with matching Hello Kitty rain coat & boots! Eppppps!)

(& finally a ton of new Anime and the original Invisible Man!)

So there we have it! Tons of kawaii goodies to keep me amused for hours on end! Can’t wait to watch my new anime and play more of Harvest Moon! It’s seriously addictive, if I only I didn’t have to work today! Damn hahah.

See you tomorrow,
