Happy 2013!

Happy 2013 everyone! May you have a very prosperous new year in all your future adventures.

I’ve been thinking about what I would like to do for some of my new year resolutions… One of them being that I would like to get back into being a serious blogger once more. As I have settled into my new life style I believe that I can handle running Fluffyghost with ease. But this time more for pleasure and hobby then a chore.

That means lots of personal posts again, as I have tons of photos just waiting to be upload here!

So Christmas was fantastic, lots of friends, family and of course kawaii. Heres a sneak peak of a few of my decorations and lovely gifts I was lucky to receive:

San-x, Sanrio, anime, games, Lolita and a traditional Japanese leather school bag make me a very happy bunny indeed! I’ve been eyeing up that bag like a perv for  such a long time too & now it is mine muahahaha! >:D

It was  also great to be able to enjoy all the festive activities on the run up to Christmas too with the people I love.

Anway hoo’s Happy New Year everyone! Lets welcome it all in together.

Birthday Goodness!

Hey all!

On Saturday I turned 20, no longer a teenager! Gosh…

Doesn’t feel any different though I must admit.

I had a really awesome lazy day. Going out to eat, playing my games, having my partner be my butler for a day haaha. Was pretty damn good doing nothing. As I couldn’t be bothered to have the pressure to have to do something. Plus this is the 4th year it has rained on my birthday! This being the first it hasn’t mattered!

Soo yay!

*Be warned this post is going to be very photo heavy!*

I was truly spoilt! I want to thank family and friends for making my day so special and for all of you’re stunning gifts you gave me & for those to come also!

It’s days like this when you can’t help but know your loved and by whom.

Wouldn’t trade that serenity for all the money in the world.

Well there we have it! I’m getting old!! :O

Haha, well take care see you all soon!

Decoupage!

Hey all!

The weekend just gone was quite a busy one for me as it was my sister’s wedding!

Of course I only wanted to help where I could naturally…She had a handmade/vintage theme going on. Which was absolutely stunning of course.

So here was my contribution to their very special day, a card box well suitcase.

Heres how it looked when I first got my hands on it:

As you can see the suitcase insides were pretty gritty and neglected. But after a good old clean and tidy up and of course the art of decoupage I was able to breathe a new lease of life into this vintage suitcase.

I was pretty happy with the end results, it fitted in a treat with the rest of the decorations. I also made the card shabby chic styled banner and included a variety of rhinestone’s in different areas of the suitcase to give it a dash of elegance.

I was able to do this all in a good days work. I was kinda sad to see this leave my side…As an artist always does has a certain attachment to there creations. But I was happy enough to love & let go of this piece. So glad it got to be used on such a special occasion that will not be forgotten for years to come.

I have tons to catch up with so I shall see you all very soon!

Take care,

I am a very lucky girl!

Hey,

As promised yesterday, I thought I should share some of my favourite birthday presents. Yes they are that awesome! My mouth still hits the floor when I look at my stash of goodies.

Seriously can’t believe I have this! It’s official Studio Ghibli and hand painted, erm….Wow! It’s so enchanting I can just feel my self day-dream along with it. I love it so!

Mr H is such a darling to get me this, he spent days trying to find the “real deal” as there is so many many many, fakes out there. His so cute and well made I shall treasure him forever!

Sqee! This is my new purse, my Hello Kitty one was getting a tad battered. Again Mr H was able to hunt down the real Studio Ghibli! His seriously the best!

Wah! I’m so in love with this book! I didn’t even know it existed so I was over the moon when I unwrapped this. It shows you all of the characters development and concepts before they settled on the final look, as well as sketches to motion frames with script! Oooh this is just to amazing, Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of my favourite Studio Ghibli films especially that Hewiee looks and acts like Jiji.

& finally my main present…Drum roll please haha…

Just what every girl want’s for her birthday:

An industrial piece of equipment haha. Thats right its a heat press. The possibilities I can use this for in my business is endless. I’m so excited I can’t wait to incorporate this into my everyday art. Hehehe!

Well that’s it for today!

I feel so lucky to have gotten what I have, I feel ober spoilt and indeed loved. Best birthday I’ve had that I can remember.

Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I.

Happy Fathers Day (UK)

Hi,

Happy Father’s day to anyone celebrating today! I just wanted to share a little post in dedication to my dad.

Fathers day, is all about remembering the good times you’ve shared together whilst growing up. A great day to reflect on your past and to show your father that you might not always show it, but you sure do appreciate him!

This is one of my favourite photos of me with my dad! I think I was about 2 and a half years old. (That’s right true 90′s kid here haha.)

I don’t remember it being taken, but I’ve always loved this photo and always will.

Who says I’m a daddies girl ey!

& of course if your British then it’s all about the presents haha… Then again I’m just happy to wrap just about anything. ( I weirdly enough have an addiction to gift wrapping…Santa would love me.)

Can you tell? Haha, anyway I have a busy week ahead, with my Dad’s & Grandma birthday on the 25th. ( I know Father’s day and a birthday, lucky!) Although his in Spain this week, so I have tons to make up for and catch up on. Plus I’ve got to make a small trip back down South to see Mr H’s Father today… Busy, busy, busy…

Have a great day, and to Fathers of the world…Happy Father’s Day!

The aftermath…

Last night Mr H, my Dad and myself went to see the American Circus!

It was awesome! We got tickets to sit in the ringside which is pretty much the best seats in the house, thank goodness for 50% off vouchers haha!

I’ve never sat that close to the show before and boy am I glad I did!

A clown made me a flower balloon on stage and I even won the raffle out of the whole audience. Yep I won a massive pink Flamingo! It’s so awesome and soft…

Sitting so close to the acts really makes you feel more part of show, we all enjoyed ourself. So if your local to Basingstoke I recommend you go see it!

Im off for a day full of paperwork and crafts! (We have to renew our contract with our landlord *sigh*)

Have an awesome Friday!

Easter Alternative’s.

With Easter being tomorrow, I thought I would share an alternative idea instead of the chocolate egg again… This post is for everyone: Vegans, Vegetarians aswell as a meat diet.

First up: Suitable for Vegans.

Bear Yo Yo’s. They look like a gummy ring, but instead of being candy their made out of 100% fruit with only the following ingredients: Apples, pears, sweet potato extract, natural raspberry flavour. “Absolutely nothing else.” Which is super healthy, makes a great snack. Plus the packaging is so freakin cute!

Plus there’s a little surprise inside the pack but I shan’t tell. You can purchase these in any health shop really. Such as Holland & Barrett.

Next up is another great for Vegans & vegetarians alike:

HumZingers Fruit Stix. Compact and easy to take on the go. Made with 100% fruit they are 1 of your 5 a day. So you can’t go wrong with these; for those who like to eat a healthier diet. I got these for my Nephew in mind & with the bright fun colours, there perfect for children!

If you still have a sweet tooth this Easter then these are great: Suitable for vegetarians and meat diets.

BLACKFRIARS go perfect with a cup of tea in the afternoon. These flapjacks are more in mind for adults. Not the most healthiest choice but still better than most alternatives like candy, chocolate bars etc…

With enticing packaging it would be hard to resist these flapjacks as they are seriously yummy!

Finally one of my personal favourites today: Suitable for a meat diet.

Marshmallow Easter eggs! As you might tell, these aren’t from a health shop. I got this in Elphicks in my local town. They look so cute and presented beautifully! I know it’s only a marshmallow but I’ve just gone off chocolate eggs. I think I over ate them as a child. :/

But everything in moderation, so these are a sure winner. Great for kids and adults!

Hope you all have a great Easter tomorrow!

I’m off to Mr H’s family BBQ today, then my Sisters birthday BBQ tomorrow!

Gotta love the British ways…

Have a great weekend.

& a happy birthday to Tera Sue for tomorrow!

A day out in Brighton.

Hi!

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

Sorry for not posting yesterday, as I took a trip with my dad, to Brighton which was awesome.

Brighton used to be like a second home for me, as I used to have a lot of family up there. It’s so serial nowadays going back there as I remember it from a child’s perspective.

Still though, I can’t help but fall in love with the ocean and sea breeze.

Aswell as Brighton pier of course:

These pictures were taken from my dads car, like a mile away! I just love the sunsets you get here. So enchanting. Plus it’s really made me want roller skates you know these ones:

    * Gorgeous retro style! * Unique high quality roller skates at a very affordable price. * These unique high top sneaker skates are available for a limited time and in limited sizes so get yourself a pair while supplies last. These boots have been waiting for you in the manufacturer's warehouse, in their original box, since the early 80s, yet they show no signs of age! The plates, trucks, wheels and bearings are all new, recent hardware. * Sooooo comfortable! The stitched ankle padding is flexible yet supportive. * Perfect fitness or recreational skating. * Ideal for beginner to intermediate skatersOld school roller skates Via: Popgloss.

I saw a couple of people skating by on these, & wow it looked like so much fun. I’m missing out for sure…

Of course going to the fair also means winning lots of goodies. (Well trying haha.)

So here’s my goodies from yesterday:

I won this voodoo doll on the penny grabbers machines! So stocked that I did, as there’s nothing worse than getting that gut clenching feeling when you come so close. I.e the crane picking it up & almost dropping it off to you. Well it took me a handful of tries. But it’s mine & without going crazy on my loose change.

As well as my new plush, a bag of candy floss is a must,  with a toffee apple & gummy bear lolly pop.

So here’s to another week!

My H’s birthday is one the 6th…Epps so I’ve got a lot of work cut out for me on that.

See you tomorrow!
