Good morning!

Hope everyone had a great Easter yesterday…

As for yesterday’s BBQ, well Mr H done his back in & I was under the weather: So we spent Easter  having a seriously lazy day.

Although we never celebrated Easter to the full (As we both felt like crap.) I put a few decorations up…Just because.

So here’s our Easter in photos:

I really have fallen in love with vintage egg boxes this year. You can do so much with them. From egg hunts, filling with chocolate for a gift, or just simply admiring them as an ornament. I just love animals wearing clothes, the bunnies are quite the something…So cute!

As for the mushrooms and bunny buckets…Well they don’t have to necessary represent Easter, so they’re going to stay out because, there just to cute to put away.

Easter Alternative’s.

With Easter being tomorrow, I thought I would share an alternative idea instead of the chocolate egg again… This post is for everyone: Vegans, Vegetarians aswell as a meat diet.

First up: Suitable for Vegans.

Bear Yo Yo’s. They look like a gummy ring, but instead of being candy their made out of 100% fruit with only the following ingredients: Apples, pears, sweet potato extract, natural raspberry flavour. “Absolutely nothing else.” Which is super healthy, makes a great snack. Plus the packaging is so freakin cute!

Plus there’s a little surprise inside the pack but I shan’t tell. You can purchase these in any health shop really. Such as Holland & Barrett.

Next up is another great for Vegans & vegetarians alike:

HumZingers Fruit Stix. Compact and easy to take on the go. Made with 100% fruit they are 1 of your 5 a day. So you can’t go wrong with these; for those who like to eat a healthier diet. I got these for my Nephew in mind & with the bright fun colours, there perfect for children!

If you still have a sweet tooth this Easter then these are great: Suitable for vegetarians and meat diets.

BLACKFRIARS go perfect with a cup of tea in the afternoon. These flapjacks are more in mind for adults. Not the most healthiest choice but still better than most alternatives like candy, chocolate bars etc…

With enticing packaging it would be hard to resist these flapjacks as they are seriously yummy!

Finally one of my personal favourites today: Suitable for a meat diet.

Marshmallow Easter eggs! As you might tell, these aren’t from a health shop. I got this in Elphicks in my local town. They look so cute and presented beautifully! I know it’s only a marshmallow but I’ve just gone off chocolate eggs. I think I over ate them as a child. :/

But everything in moderation, so these are a sure winner. Great for kids and adults!

Supplement of the chocolate egg.

Afternoon!

Hope you are all rested for the new week ahead.

A couple of posts ago you saw loads of Easter goodies I had.

Well today I thought I would show you just what I did with all that candy goodness. ^__^

I turned them into adorable Easter gifts! Much better then receiving a Rollo egg or something. 

I used some vintage wall paper I found whilst out thrifting as the backing card. Added some labels, made little bags to package the small chocolate bunnies. Filled with an assortment of candy. Then decorated accordingly.

Doesn’t have to cost much neither! Just a bit of imagination needed, then woahla! A cute Easter gift, waiting to make anyone smile.

100th Post!..

Hi!

Wow, can’t believe I’ve reached my 100th post so soon. In honour of this I shall be doing a giveaway on Oh My Deer around the first week of April. So stay tune for that.

As It’s another beautiful Spring day, I feel that a Spring post is in order. 

So what can be more Spring like then Easter. Yer I know It’s not for a while but I’ve gotten in all my goodies to turn into goodie bags. (I’ll show them on another post this week maybe.)

Sweets, chocolate & more sweets! Who could want more…

This Easter I’m just going to be doing small tokens, as going out & spending loads of money on eggs, is a bit to silly for me. 

So I prefer to put more thought in to it, then just giving someone a Rollo egg.

Don’t get me wrong, I shall be decorating on the day haha, plus making lots of cakes & cupcake.

But as for gifts. Well your see soon enough.

Dreaming of Easter…

Hi,

I’ve been day dreaming a lot about Easter lately. It’s never the chocolate that does it for me (I’ve never really been a chocolate fan.) but the refreshing decorations. 

It’s just visually eye candy to me, so just some pictures I found that inspire me.

I just love all the bright vividness of Spring colours. They really do just spruce everything up. They just give me a real sense of cheeriness & weirdly an urge to clean.

Do you get that? As soon as there is a bit of sunshine for a couple of days, it makes me really want to clean the house. :/…
