Kawaii Progress!

  Hey all!

Gosh its been a very hectic yet productive month so far, making tons of new products for the London Anime Con in Feb…

So I’m just popping in today with a little sneak peek of a few items I’ve been working on:

From fluffy rice balls,  Soot Sprites bags (Handprinted and designed by me.) and of course the odd fluffy huggable Totoro. I’ve got tons more products in the pipelines and tons I haven’t taken pictures of yet…Well I don’t want to kiss and tell about everything now would I haha!

I’m starting to get really excited as well as nervous of course!

Still getting those finishing touches done to all of the above so busy times ahead!

Take care,

My Kawaii Christmas Craft Fair!

Hey all!

As you might know I’ve been spending all of October getting ready for my first ever Christmas craft fair. Everyone was so friendly, I met a ton of awesome crafters whose advice really helped me to for my future events!

So wanta see?

Heres how my stall looked like on the day, be warned this is a photo heavy post hehe:

I was really happy with the way my stall visually turned out. All the hard work definitely paid off for sure! The only downer I could possibly say would be the poor organisation behind the craft fair. It was sadly just the venue and the lack of customers. Every stall holder felt dead in the water due to this. But then again looking on the bright side I got my market research done and of course learnt a lot with some much needed first hand experience. Plus you can never judge a customer by appearance as you never know if they will buy a product or what not. I would say I was very surprised when a vicar purchased a couple of my goodies so it just goes to show really!

I would also like to thank my awesome friends & my partner for all of their help and time they had taken out to help & an extra special thanks to Jojo who worked alongside me and made many great goodies for our stall.

Well there we have it…

So as you know I still have tons of epic products for sale. I shall be updating my Etsy ALOT over the next coming of days, starting from today!

So if you want a handmade kawaii creation head over to my Etsy store here.

October

Hi all!

Gosh can’t believe it’s October already! October is going to be one of the most productive months this year for me. With my up and coming craft fair on the 30th, Mr H’s and I 3rd anniversary and of course Halloween!

Although in my head I’m already planning for Christmas haha!

I’m getting really excited about my first ever craft fair. I can’t wait to meet the buyers who purchase my stuff, it shall be a great learning experience as well as interesting. Fluffyghost is also sponsoring this event and has done some of the design work. So here’s a flyer I made for the event:

(It’s a lot more readable in person, just doesn’t do much justice for it on here.)

I’m starting to get a mixture of emotions, from excitement to anxiety… I just get so nervous that no one wants my stuff haha… Well were find out!

So im off to make, then make some more. Till my fingers can sew no more!

Have a great day.

Vintage Fair.

Hi!

Just finally sat down from a very hectic weekend!

I got my photo shoot done on Saturday so I would like to thanks some lovely girlie’s (Libby, Lou Lou & Freya.) for all of their help…So excited for you all to see!

Anyway after a massive lay in me & Mr H headed out to a local vintage fair:

There were so many stalls selling any kind of vintage under the sun; some handmade stuff using vintage fabrics. So I’m quite glad I managed to control myself.

I couldn’t believe my luck when I found my dream chair! As there was a lot of expensive stuff like ranging from over £100. Just for a footstool!

So when the stall owner said it was only £20, well I never hesitated once!

Some cute vintage buttons. I would love a huge collection but I think it’s just a shame not to use them!

As well as the most cutest mini paper fan. I don’t know why but I really adore paper decorations. Who knows why?!

This pillow Is super lush…The middle of the cushion is from a 1960′s table cloth & the artist had sewn all the patchwork bits around it. As you can tell I freaking LOVE pillows & for £14 I get some vintage thrown in with handmade, perfect combo…Yay!!

Well, Im off to collapse & watch an Anime called “Summer Wars.”

Be back tomorrow…Tell then have an awesome Sunday.
