I Am Not Dead!

Hello all…

All though it may have seemed that I had died and gone off somewhere I can assure you all I am still alive!

Basically I had a seriously bad flu virus & been in bed for the last two weeks pretty much.  But I’m all better now so FluffyGhost shall commence with the kawaii!

I shall be pulling my finger out to & uploading some kawaii goodies I have in store for you all to my Etsy shop.

Anyway whilst I was ill doesn’t mean there wasn’t any kawaii! (There is always kawaii of course!)

Look what the postman brought me:

Over a month ago I placed another order from the ever awesome J List and boy I’m sure glad I did.

Japan have so many awesome ranges of our existing candy and chocolate that it makes our British range seem rather boring. Which it is! I’ve never tried hot cake flavour KitKats before until now. There really good-by the way, a lot smaller than the UK ones but with the Rilakkuma packaging who cares? Most kawaii KitKats ever!

I also got some Miku Hatsune “Hentai” underwear. Its meant for cosplay apparently but I’m just using them as normal underwear really haha. They are super cute and of course comfy. If you’re a fan of anime then your bound to have see these iconic panties everywhere (In a range of colours.) so I just had to have some!

I needed some teaspoons (Yes I actually did need some not because I fancied them, even though I did haha.) so I was able to crack two birds with one stone here.

I also re-ordered some of the chocolate pocky moulds as I swapped my current one. 

Finally these are what are known as a “silly” purchases. No I didn’t need them, I just wanted them haha. The first is a giant panda biscuit looked really cute so I thought I would give it ago. Must admit although it was a little artificial still tasted better than I thought. I do love the plastic cases, I don’t have a purpose in mind for them so I’ll properly use a few of them for some future swaps or something along those lines.

I hope everyone enjoys their bank holiday weekend! (If you live in the UK!)

So I shall be back on Tuesday with tons of kawaii posts, crafts, products and more. Yes I will actually be back haha! If you can swear on kawaii then I do!

London Anime Convention 2012.

Hi all!

Its great to finally be back after an awesome and much rewarding Anime Convention. I feel like I’ve been sewing forever for this but it sure was worth the effort.

I had so much fun through out the day, from seeing some pretty amazing cosplays, to having a great success with my art stall and of course meeting some great people!

So heres some photos from Saturday:

It was really fun dressing up in Cosplay: It was my first time too, I wish I had taken more photos or at least got a body shoot but hey ho… So there we have me as Konata from Lucky Star, chocolate cornet & all! 

 

There were tons of great stalls & talented artists at the convention so there was just now way I could  have gone home empty handed! My eyes completely lit up when I spotted Mokona Modoki from Holic, there just beyond cute!

Oh & there is one other thing I picked up from the con…& well everyone should have really:

You bet’cha who could say no to kawaii cat ears! Hewiee approved of course.

London Anime Con!

Hi all!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but theres a good reason (As per usual haha.) to why…

Thats right FluffyGhost shall be hitting up the London anime convention on the 11th February. (Saturday)

For tons of handmade kawaii, from Studio Ghibli to some of your favourite anime characters and of course some Lolita for the Harajuku girls: FluffyGhost shall be whipping up a treat!

There will be tons to do from workshops, anime screenings, Otaku fashion shows, epic battles, live music and of course tons of awesome Japanese stores! Obviously including FluffyGhost! 

Plus  we shall be cosplaying it up! Myself as Konata from Lucky Star & Mr H as Sebastian from Black Butler!

Tons of awesome reasons to get yourself down to the Rocket Complex on the 11th Feb!

Lucky Star Full Dance!

Hey hey!

As a huge fan of Lucky Star I thought it would be fun to share the full dance on the final episode. Which also is the intro to the anime as well..Snippets of it anyway.

Who doesn’t love this:

Ahh this dance is so kawaii! I would so love to do this dance for real as Konata!(Being short & all haha!)

Of course I had to share the best real life interruption that I could find too:

Even if their not wearing the wigs it would have to be the most energetic attempt I have seen. As you really need to put your back into this dance to make it believable. A half assed attempt just wont do!

Hey!

Hope everyone is having a great start to the week. (& there’s me wishing it was over! >…..<)

Cosplay is huge part of modern Japan culture, so today I bring some of the cutest cosplay I could find:

This is the cutest version of Miku ever! With added leek of course! Just wouldn’t be the same without it.

I’ve always loved Sailor Moon, I grew up with it on Fox Kids (Does anyone even remember this channel?) & I’ve missed it ever since. So it’s only natural to find some super cute cosplay! Why hadn’t I thought of that. This Halloween who knows…Maybe theres a little Tsukino Usagi in me! Great cosplay by the way!
