International Friends!

Hey all!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far…

Since starting Fluffyghost one of my all time favourite things I have enjoyed the most via this website is the connections I have made with people who share the same passion as me for kawaii around the world.

It helps open your eyes to culture, friendship and of course more kawaii that you might not have been able to locate or have known.

I’ve been lucky to share swapping experiences with these lovely ladies and be included in the care package network (as I like to think of it).  You just can’t beat coming home to a super cute parcel when you’ve had a rather crappy day, as it really goes to show that someone on the other side of the world really does give a damn about your well-being… and that feeling just cannot be beaten!

So here is a what I was blessed to receive this year for Christmas from the most awesome ladies ever:

I am truly grateful to have such awesome international friends. Getting to know you all, exchanging parcels and just the kawaii community in general always brightens up my day.
I hope to one day meet you all in the flesh.

I would just like to add also that there are a few more parcels that should have been included in this post but I just can’t seem to locate the photos on my computer. But you lovely ladies know who you are and how thankful to your friendship I am.

Well thats enough of me being gushy on the internet for one day haha!
Im off to see Les Mis in the cinema.

Take care,

Happy 2013!

Happy 2013 everyone! May you have a very prosperous new year in all your future adventures.

I’ve been thinking about what I would like to do for some of my new year resolutions… One of them being that I would like to get back into being a serious blogger once more. As I have settled into my new life style I believe that I can handle running Fluffyghost with ease. But this time more for pleasure and hobby then a chore.

That means lots of personal posts again, as I have tons of photos just waiting to be upload here!

So Christmas was fantastic, lots of friends, family and of course kawaii. Heres a sneak peak of a few of my decorations and lovely gifts I was lucky to receive:

San-x, Sanrio, anime, games, Lolita and a traditional Japanese leather school bag make me a very happy bunny indeed! I’ve been eyeing up that bag like a perv for  such a long time too & now it is mine muahahaha! >:D

It was  also great to be able to enjoy all the festive activities on the run up to Christmas too with the people I love.

Anway hoo’s Happy New Year everyone! Lets welcome it all in together.

Christmas In Photos!

Hi all!

I hope all of you had a fantastic kawaii filled Christmas!

It’s great to be back, I have so so so…Many ideas for Fluffyghost for the up and coming year can’t wait to share. But as were still all in the chilled out, eat/drink and be merry vibe: I thought I would share some of my favourite presents from Christmas this year.

Well it’s not new years yet!

So so many awesome gifts! I want to thank all of my friends and family whose made many of my Christmas lusts come true!

As you can see I have another stupidly  awesome sized pillow! Shrimp style sushi of course! I love it so much! Hello Kitty 50th anniversary collaboration with Tuxedo Sam plush! & of course two generous sized anime and manga box sets! Thanks Mr H!

I always find that not asking for much for Christmas is always a win down here, as I’m always curious to see what people think I like and what gifts are bestowed on me. Obviously my family, friends and lover are of course well kawaii trained haha!

The best Rilakkuma slippers ever! There so freaking adorable I couldn’t have asked of any better. Mr H knows me well.

I was so stoked to unwrap my Hello Kitty porcelain ornament, I’ve been eyeing up this beaut for almost forever! Its handmade by the Spanish group’s NAO brand in workshops in Valencia under license by Sanrio. You can find more out about them here. To others its known as “grown up” Hello Kitty!

I wanted to thank my friend Ella (Who Im super excited about meeting on the 30th.) for my awesome handmade kawaii Christmas card of me and Hewiee. Best card by a landslide I have received this year! She is a super talented artist so be sure to check out some of her work here.

Finally some super cute bits and bobs from Santa haha! (Apart from the Ds game.)  I love Rune Factory 3, best game I have up to date. It’s beyond Harvest Moon as you can do so so so much more! Awesome game I strongly recommend it!

A professor Layton DVD, can’t wait to watch as the games are really fun! Hello Kitty cupcake lip gloss and finally the most awesome Black Butler playing cards!

So as you can see I’ve done very well this Christmas! I want to thank everyone who made this year so special!

I will also be doing a new years giveaway in the next couple of years, to help kick-start 2012 all in good stride so be sure to keep checking in.

Have a great day!

Hi all!

Just quickly popping in with the most kawaii Christmas Amigurumi I’ve currently seen this festive month:

Via: Sweet ‘N’ Cute Creations.

What I wouldn’t do to get my hands on these cuties! Gingerbread men and women have to be one of the most kawaii traditions around Christmas time and who could disagree with an adorable expression as these?

Just a quick note to let all of my awesome readers know, that Fluffyghost shall commence as of normal from Wednesday. I’ve been asked to do a Christmas craft fair at the last-minute so I’m stepping in for a friend. Which means busy busy, busy!

Take care!

Welcome Christmas!

Hi all!

So yesterday being the 1st of the month… (Cannot believe that it’s already December!) Can only mean the start of a ton of decorating!

Now I haven’t gone crazy with the decorating yet but I managed to put a few bits and bobs out so far:

rilakkuma, san x, cats, christmas, kawaii

I think I’m going to go with a cute gingerbread man theme for my front room this year. Of course there be tons of kawaii characters and handmade goodies hanging around! I’m in love with my new Rilakkuma and Kiiroitori wreath so much! I can’t take credit for finding it as my awesome friend gave me a heads up about it!

Also yesterday finally meant I could use these adorable Santa bells I brought a couple of months ago! I’ve been so excited about customizing Hewiee’s collar for December. Unfortunately you can’t see the Santa bell to clearly as he wasn’t in a photo shoot mood. Pffft….But I shall get round to taking better photo so you can all see how adorable it is! Especially framed on his red and white gingham collar! How festive!

Has anyone else started decorating yet?

The Pink Palace Blankets!

As the cold season approaches us all its time to bring out your blankets from hibernation. To scrub up your favourite mug and snuggle down as the days shorten.

Now apart from my kawaii lifestyle my second obsession , addiction, prepossession…. Ok my second most favourite things in the whole world would have to be pillows and blankets!

So as Winter is fast approaching I just had to share The Pink Palaces vintage blankets. I’ve been seriously crushing on this women’s handy work for a long time!

Heres what I seriously need in my world as of currently:

Chocolate Brown Vintage Chenille Patchwork Throw Size Quilt Pink Frosting. Via: The Pink Palace.

Just everything about this blanket is just right. It looks so snuggly! Perfect for the cold seasons ahead of us for sure!

Gorgeous Vintage Chenille Patchwork Throw Sz Quilt. Via: The Pink Palace!

With all the colours and textures whats not to love about this fantastic blankets!

Adorable Pink Vintage Chenille Patchwork Baby Quilt Blanket.Via: The Pink Palace.

As these blankets are to die for they also come with a pretty price tag too. Although I would normally stay away from bank breaking buys these blankets are the kinda ones that will follow you through a life time in my judgement!

As well as these super beautiful blankets, The Pink Palace also sells matching pillows, super sweet Christmas stockings etc…

So be sure to stop by her Etsy and check her work out here.

As you can see I’m currently in a battle of mind over will here haha, will I buy one? Well eventually I’m sure I’ll cave in. Untill then I spose I’m just a girl day dreaming about the possibilities of probably owning the worlds most comfiest blanket haha!

Have an awesome day!
